The Big News (No, Not Babies)

Hey everyone!     So if you're reading this, I'm thinking you either saw my facebook status or just really love me and read my blog religiously! lol So lets start from the beginning shall we? Seems like usually a good place to start things these days!    Colton and I, as many of you know, live with my parents in their basement. We share a lot with the family, the bathroom, the kitchen, the laundry room, our ward, our life. lol but I'm so eternally grateful for my parents and sharing their wonderful home with us this past year. I literally don't know how Colton and I would have found a place with all the money we had to catch up on. I know it's hard to live with family but please, if anyone lives with them teenager, married, a mother, whatever it may be, be ever grateful for them and thank the Lord that you have a roof over your head and someone who loves you enough to share it with you and feed you. It is tough but it has also made a lot of our memories...

Colton

Hey everyone, I know I've been slacking off wih what I was trying to do with a new family member or so a week but today I'm starting again. With Valentines day last week and everything, I figured who better to write about than my own husband! First off, we had a great Valentines day together and enjoyed my birthday together as well, went to dinner and to see The Vow on my birthday and dinner and to see Chronicle on Valentines day.            Colt, I have a really hard time starting this, there are so many things that I love about you. You have changed my whole world for the better. I know I didn't let everyone know the truth about how we met online. I was still in high school and had a bad break up and thought I'd try out online dating for maybe a few dates or maybe someone to turn into a boyfriend, I never thought I'd be telling people later I met my husband online but, god works in mysterious ways. :) Colt, t...

The Kids

Image
Well I don't know about everyone else but I feel like February is love month, and I've just been trying to decide what to write about on my blog, my birthday? yeah probably, valentines day? ok. but what else could I do to show my love for everyone in my life, why not write about them?! So this weeks blog? The kids. I am blessed to be an auntie to 5 kids (soon to be 6) I don't get to see 3 of them as much but I love them all the same! They aren't my kids however so I don't think it's my right to add names so there will be a picture followed by a letter lol. So to start off: K: K was my very first nephew, I remember being so scared to hold him when he was little because he was so small and so fragile. I remember driving down to see him, I was really excited to meet him. My brother Josh had a cute yellow nike head band that he just had to put on him lol. He was born for the need to love football and sports. I'm so proud of K and the choice he made recently to...

Happy New Year Everyone!           I'm extremely excited for all the new adventures and lessons 2012 has to offer Colton and I as a married couple. We are already looking forward to many new and exciting things. We also know there will be trials and hard times but that's going to come with every year. So how has everything started off? I can't complain, we were able to spend time with mine and Colton's family for the past few weeks. We had a wonderful Christmas and Christmas Eve.             Well the biggest reason I did this post today is to tell everyone how we are doing, like usual, and what we are up to. I was more excited about this post than most. (ha yes, I just rhymed) Colton and I had a meeting with the bishop before Christmas and we want everyone to now know that we have our blessings back as far as taking the sacrament and everything. He also said he is looking into a ca...

Update First.

Image
Hello everyone,           So the title of this blog is update first because I (duh) plan on updating you about things, then, a blog about CHRISTMAS later. hehehe As many of you might have heard already (or been here for it) We had a pretty bad wind storm in Davis County area. It tore down many trees that have grown for years, building's signs, people's roofs, etc. It was a really hard week to see all the damage, but nothing compared to how wonderful it was to see all our ward members helping everyone. They canceled church just so all the men in our ward who were able to, could help clean up the neighbor's yards. Everything already is looking better, I love having a religion where I always feel safe and loved. The lord really watches out for all of us.             Going along with that, this same week I got really sick. Sick enough to where I couldn't get up and cried most of the nigh...

Six months!!

Image
Hello wonderful people you!             So sorry it's taken me a while to write about our six months, got to say first though, this blog title was almost called six moths until I realized it, laughed, and changed it lol. Okay so first thing is first, obviously, Colton and I are at six MONTHS already. :) half a year went by pretty darn fast I have to admit, but they have been wonderful months together with lots of laughs and love and dates like the one we went on November 14th. Colton came home around 10 from work on a break with beautiful roses for me and first thing he said was "I think there's 18" lol I loved them! They are still on our kitchen table as I write :) Then I started getting ready for the day and at five he had come home early from work that day to go on our date!                 He went and changed then made me wait in the front room until a limo showed up in ...
