Hello wonderful people you!
So sorry it's taken me a while to write about our six months, got to say first though, this blog title was almost called six moths until I realized it, laughed, and changed it lol. Okay so first thing is first, obviously, Colton and I are at six MONTHS already. :) half a year went by pretty darn fast I have to admit, but they have been wonderful months together with lots of laughs and love and dates like the one we went on November 14th. Colton came home around 10 from work on a break with beautiful roses for me and first thing he said was "I think there's 18" lol I loved them! They are still on our kitchen table as I write :) Then I started getting ready for the day and at five he had come home early from work that day to go on our date!

He went and changed then made me wait in the front room until a limo showed up in our front yard along with his parents! One awesome surprise after the other, I feel like I haven't seen them in a while so it was a great surprise! We took some pictures, and were on our way. We went to dinner at our (or at least my) favorite place, Wing Tips and Bistro, it's this little hidden place in a hotel but super yummy! I had my hot wings of course and lots of sodas and yummy rolls, then we got cheesecake for dessert, I know, my mouth is watering thinking about it too! :) Then we got back in the limo and were off again. We drove by gateway mall and I was soooo exciting thinking that we were going shopping! haha but where he took me was even better, that's right, better than the mall! That's because it had special meaning to us. He wrote me a poem a while back saying he wanted to show me the world and asked me to be his girlfriend that way and now used it on our six month by taking me to the planetarium where, believe it or not, I had never been to, it was so much fun! We got to go look around and then went to a laser show inside the biiiig dome where they played music like ACDC and Led Zeppelin and yeah it was awesome! We then went home and said goodbye to his parents. We went into our room and read our letters for each other, we wanted to write them for our six month and it was great to read!

Needless to say, it was a wonderful day, our love is still so strong for each other, I wish I could say we never fight, and always have a perfect life, but then hey, it probably wouldn't be a real marriage. We might fight, but we also always fight for our love, we fight for each other, and fight to beat everyone's impression of a newly wed couple, and to me, our life is perfect, and that's all that matters to me, we're in love and no one will ever change that or take that away from us. The temple is still in our thoughts everyday, we might not know an exact date, but you can't put a "due date" on eternity, when it happens we will have all our loved ones there and be together forever and that's what we look forward to.

As far as everything else, I'm still pushing to get through school, turns out if I graduate in basic esthetics, I will be the second student from DATC to do so. CRAZY huh!? It's been really hard but I'm studying my butt off and can't wait to have that day when I graduate and know it's because I didn't give up! I'm also still working at Kohls and LOVE everything about it! The people there are awesome and it's so fun working with my best friend Kara, I'm pretty lucky to see my friends as much as I do. I see Kara at work, KaLin for dance class on Mondays, and Natalie, Brynn, and Roslyn at school. I did go shopping at Kohls today and as it says on my facebook, I saved more than 430 dollars today! Definitely a great perk to my job but I also still love being there everyday anyway! Dance has been awesome as well! I still love what I do and it has been a big wake up call for me to get in shape, but in a fun way! We have a recital in December and I'll be sure to let all of you know when that is and would love to have y'all there!
Colt is still loving his job as well, he has been doing so well there. He is hard on himself but I know his boss loves having him there since he tells me everyday I go visit haha. He has healed very well from his appendix surgery, he still forgets sometimes and lands to hard on the bed or what not lol but he is doing very well.

All together, you could say life is pretty darn good! We still have some bills we want to lower before moving out, but we are looking at around February or March hopefully and are excited to get a place and take care of ourselves. I'm again so grateful for my parents because with out them, we would have been homeless and maybe had to wait longer to get married, they are my everything and I'm so lucky to have them helping us when we need it. Well that's all for now, sorry it's a REALLY long post but I had a lot on my mind, and you were bored enough to sit there and read it, so there ya go! ;) love y'all, have a great day and enjoy your holidays coming up! It's time with family and friends, don't pass that up! - Savannah Bird
