Love Birds

Hey everyone,             I've had a few people now ask me how our dog's surgery went and I figured this would be a good way to let everyone know how it went.             As most of you know by now, we got a dog November 17th last year. We went to an adoption shelter and found her laying in a tiny cage, she had a bunch of info on her and it said her previous owners left her there :( but she already had the name Bubblegum and we decided we really liked that name so we kept it! She is DEFINITELY a mommy's girl but I of course don't mind. ;) Bubblegum has been pretty healthy but then a few months ago she started getting a tiny bump on her head, I was a little worried but we thought it might just be a mole then it got a little bigger and a little bigger and finally we took her in, the doctor said it looks like a cyst and that we should get it removed.            Well it's official, I can finally tell people when they ask that Colton and I have been married a year now! Wow! How fast the time flew by. I have had so many memories flying through my head making me smile and reminding me how lucky I am to have found him.            I remember the first day I met him I was watching him come up to my front door from my window and thought he was super hot ;) My heart was beating so fast I was for sure he'd hear it through the door. We had such a fun first date at Boondocks bowling and hanging out with Kara and KaLin mini golfing, then we watched Alice In Wonderland at my house and had my dad's spaghetti. I remember us hanging out at Wal-mart and when I had to say goodbye, I gave him a hug and had a really hard time letting go, I knew I liked him, A LOT!(p.s. the first picture on this post is the first picture we took together.)         ...

Okay Okay I know, Kind of a weird title to this post but my reason being?? Colton and I have been great, don't get me wrong but in a year we have had his appendix taken out, I've gotten 3 crowns on my teeth, Colt got a bunch of dental work done, Bubblegum went to the vet 4 times in one month, we have 2 cars to pay for, new car insurance ... well you get the idea. We have gone through a lot together physically and mostly financially. So now that we have almost been married a year, I have had a lot of things going through my mind because we still have a lot of bills but then I had myself stop and though what have we accomplished? Well for starters, we just paid our LAST hospital bill out of thousands of dollars, We have prettier mouths with a little less pain ;) and a happy dog that didn't die after eating chocolate (dummy) lol but there is still a lot coming up.
