Our Puppy's Surgery

Image
Hey everyone,             I've had a few people now ask me how our dog's surgery went and I figured this would be a good way to let everyone know how it went.             As most of you know by now, we got a dog November 17th last year. We went to an adoption shelter and found her laying in a tiny cage, she had a bunch of info on her and it said her previous owners left her there :( but she already had the name Bubblegum and we decided we really liked that name so we kept it! She is DEFINITELY a mommy's girl but I of course don't mind. ;) Bubblegum has been pretty healthy but then a few months ago she started getting a tiny bump on her head, I was a little worried but we thought it might just be a mole then it got a little bigger and a little bigger and finally we took her in, the doctor said it looks like a cyst and that we should get it removed. At the time Colt and I really didn'...

One Year

Well it's official, I can finally tell people when they ask that Colton and I have been married a year now! Wow! How fast the time flew by. I have had so many memories flying through my head making me smile and reminding me how lucky I am to have found him.            I remember the first day I met him I was watching him come up to my front door from my window and thought he was super hot ;) My heart was beating so fast I was for sure he'd hear it through the door. We had such a fun first date at Boondocks bowling and hanging out with Kara and KaLin mini golfing, then we watched Alice In Wonderland at my house and had my dad's spaghetti. I remember us hanging out at Wal-mart and when I had to say goodbye, I gave him a hug and had a really hard time letting go, I knew I liked him, A LOT!(p.s. the first picture on this post is the first picture we took together.)         ...

Planning To Not Make Plans

Okay Okay I know, Kind of a weird title to this post but my reason being?? Colton and I have been great, don't get me wrong but in a year we have had his appendix taken out, I've gotten 3 crowns on my teeth, Colt got a bunch of dental work done, Bubblegum went to the vet 4 times in one month, we have 2 cars to pay for, new car insurance ... well you get the idea. We have gone through a lot together physically and mostly financially. So now that we have almost been married a year, I have had a lot of things going through my mind because we still have a lot of bills but then I had myself stop and though what have we accomplished? Well for starters, we just paid our LAST hospital bill out of thousands of dollars, We have prettier mouths with a little less pain ;) and a happy dog that didn't die after eating chocolate (dummy) lol but there is still a lot coming up. Bubblegum has a cyst on her head that is getting bigger so we called around and finally found a place that is ...

Hey Everyone!        So sorry for the long time of no posts on here! We've had a busy past few weeks. So I have a LOT of things I wanted to talk about today in this post but to start off, We love our new place! We finally have a place to call home and it was so fun unpacking everything with Colt and making sure we both liked it! I have pics up on facebook too but I'm loading some now for this post too! :) We have couches now too! We got Colt's cousin's old couches that they didn't want anymore which was awesome and so nice of them! We didn't mind the floor and got some good laughs out of it but we LOVE having somewhere to sit now. lol             Colt and I both have our same jobs still and are very happy their, I plan to probably stay at mine until after schooling and Colt still likes being at his and would like to stay at his as long as he can. He is learning so much, even though he thinks he's sl...

The Big News (No, Not Babies)

Image
Hey everyone!     So if you're reading this, I'm thinking you either saw my facebook status or just really love me and read my blog religiously! lol So lets start from the beginning shall we? Seems like usually a good place to start things these days!    Colton and I, as many of you know, live with my parents in their basement. We share a lot with the family, the bathroom, the kitchen, the laundry room, our ward, our life. lol but I'm so eternally grateful for my parents and sharing their wonderful home with us this past year. I literally don't know how Colton and I would have found a place with all the money we had to catch up on. I know it's hard to live with family but please, if anyone lives with them teenager, married, a mother, whatever it may be, be ever grateful for them and thank the Lord that you have a roof over your head and someone who loves you enough to share it with you and feed you. It is tough but it has also made a lot of our memories...

Hey everyone, I know I've been slacking off wih what I was trying to do with a new family member or so a week but today I'm starting again. With Valentines day last week and everything, I figured who better to write about than my own husband! First off, we had a great Valentines day together and enjoyed my birthday together as well, went to dinner and to see The Vow on my birthday and dinner and to see Chronicle on Valentines day.            Colt, I have a really hard time starting this, there are so many things that I love about you. You have changed my whole world for the better. I know I didn't let everyone know the truth about how we met online. I was still in high school and had a bad break up and thought I'd try out online dating for maybe a few dates or maybe someone to turn into a boyfriend, I never thought I'd be telling people later I met my husband online but, god works in mysterious ways. :) Colt, t...

The Kids

Image
Well I don't know about everyone else but I feel like February is love month, and I've just been trying to decide what to write about on my blog, my birthday? yeah probably, valentines day? ok. but what else could I do to show my love for everyone in my life, why not write about them?! So this weeks blog? The kids. I am blessed to be an auntie to 5 kids (soon to be 6) I don't get to see 3 of them as much but I love them all the same! They aren't my kids however so I don't think it's my right to add names so there will be a picture followed by a letter lol. So to start off: K: K was my very first nephew, I remember being so scared to hold him when he was little because he was so small and so fragile. I remember driving down to see him, I was really excited to meet him. My brother Josh had a cute yellow nike head band that he just had to put on him lol. He was born for the need to love football and sports. I'm so proud of K and the choice he made recently to...
