The Honeymoon

Okay so I figured while I was at it, I would let everyone know how our honeymoon went, we went to California for a week and had such a blast! The first day we got to Cali was Monday Night so we just got settled into our hotel. Tuesday it was raining a little so we had a shopping day and went to Balboa Island and had ice cream and taffy and then went and got Sprinkles Cupcakes. Wednesday we went to Knott's Berry Farms and it was so much fun! We picked a great day to go as well because it was a little windy but no rain and we didn't die of heat! Thursday was when we had some problems lol Colton and I went to the beach and remembered sunscreen everywhere except for the back of Colt's legs, they didn't hurt too bad until that night so we couldn't go to the beach Friday which was fine because we just relaxed in the hotel and had a great dinner and went to a movie and called it a day! Saturday we visited my wonderful friends the Hyers and had a great time catching up with them! We stayed the night there, went to sacrament meeting that morning and then headed home. As a follow up with Colton's legs... They were terribly burnt for about three weeks after and he had to stay home from work a few days because he got a second degree burn right on the back of your legs where you bend your knees! OUCH! poor guy.. but he is better now and we learned our lesson! :)
