The First Post

So I guess if you're reading this you probably pretty much know a lot about me but maybe not so here we go, the boring "Get to know you" Post. My maiden name is Savannah Schindler, but I'm now married and my name is Savannah Bird. Me and my husband Colton Bird were just recently married May 14th 2011 (hence the random 14 in our web address) in our Farmington Church Chapel. The wedding was wonderful and I'm so sorry we couldn't have as many people as we wanted there. :( So the question I get all the time now is of course "So, how is married life?" I can happily look at that person and say "It's been great so far!" then they look at me like I just spoke a different language and reply "That's all?!" haha so here is my FULL version of how life is being married. Is it different? Of course!! But I get to be with my absolute best friend everyday, we are both working so of course we aren't with each other all the time but we LOVE movies and try to make it a goal to watch one or two a week together. Colton is working extremely hard at Martin's Auto Collision in Orem and drives there and back everyday, I know that a lot of great men drive a ways to there job but his car isn't in the best shape and takes a LOT of gas so it is very hard on us both, he is trying very hard to find a job up here now and we are praying about it every night. I was very recently blessed with a job as well! I'm now working at Centerville Dollar Cuts as a Receptionist and really enjoy it! I only work 3 days a week but when I do schooling as well, it is PLENTY enough for me. :) Colton and I are living with my parents in there basement and feel so blessed to be doing so. We hope to have our own place around May or June of 2012 but it depends on a few things of course. Colton and I also plan on being sealed together for eternity in the Bountiful temple as soon as possible. But other than that, our lives are pretty simple being newly weds. Of course we have struggles and of course I have people say all the time "You're only 19 and married?!" haha yup I am, and I've never been happier! :) So anyway there's a little about our lives as of right now.
